Sea You Later

I'm back again as hostess for our latest Just Us Girls Color Challenge #738: Orange and Hot Pink. I figured that in the midst of summer these colors could encompass popsicles, fruits, bathing suits, pool floats, beach balls, cocktails, flowers and many more staples of the season. The team and our new guest, Bonnie Klass, have made a variety of fun cards for you.

I am also playing along at Time Out Challenges, Inspired by Words Challenge: It's Always Summer Somewhere....like where I live and like these ladies who spend many days of every month at the beach!

I am also playing along at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes and Simon Says Stamp IG Challenge. #SSSIGChallenge

Products I used:

Simply Graphic: Swimmers dies

Ellen Hutson: Everything's Beachy stamp set

Simon Says Stamp: Under the Sea Animals (sentiment)

Pink and Main: Large Sentiment Strip dies

The Greetery: Coaster die

Stampin' Up!: Melon Mambo embossing powder

Versamark ink pad

Kraft A2 card base

I love die cutting and playing paper dolls with this swimmer die. My swimmers have different suntans but you can't see it in the photo. They are all going to burn if they don't get under those umbrellas!

I hand cut the umbrellas after stamping them with Versamark ink to give me a guide. I popped them up on foam tape to look more realistic over the girls.

We all hope you will play along with us this week. See you in the gallery!

Carol, these are my FAVE colors of the season! Seriously can't wait to start playing - I'm thinking seconds, and maybe even third helpings!
I am imagining the conversation these three are having under those darling sunhats! OH, do I wish you lived next door!

Oh what a totally delightful summer card! You picked such a great color combo--hoping to join the gallery!
PS--yes, the green Lunar Paste really is named fake plant! Pretty funny name, but really gorgeous green!

How fun, Carol! I love those ladies lying on the beach blanket getting a tan, which I can see on my screen.

I just love this card so much. I love those dies. I bought them when I first saw you use them, but I have never used them. I have to change that! The colors are so perfectly used here, and I just love that you used that coaster die as a beach blanket. Great design and great use of combining products from multiple companies. Love, love, love!!!!
