Hello! Can you believe this is the second week of February? At Just Us Girls #713 it is Word Week: Love. You can go with the obvious Valentine's Day or make a card with things you love such as cupcakes, a beach, flowers, a season, etc. Check out what the design team has come up with for you! Here is my card.
Concord and 9th: Sweet Sayings Dies, mini ink pad
Sentiment: Unknown set of four wooden mini stamps
Silver stretchy cord
Hand cut mini tag
All it took to make this card is die cutting and lining the postage die cuts up in rows. I contemplated putting a silver heart inside each opening but opted to keep it simple. On the inside, I did add pink behind the openings of Hugs + Kisses. I made the little "love" tag in about a minute and tied it on with a silver stretchy cord.
We hope you will join us this week...with whatever creative idea you come up with for Love!
See you back here soon,
Carol

Carol... fun! fun! Fun!
This is adorable, Carol! Love the postage die cut so much!
Thanks ladies!
This is such a sweet Valentine! I love the postage stamps with the open hearts, which you lined up perfectly with the little sentiment banner tied on.
Your card is fantastic Carol! Love the grid design with the color gradient, plus that tiny flag with the sentiment is adorable. Beyond sweet!
Looks more than a litle bit of fun with all those beautiful coloured hearts. Simply lovely Carol.
Love all these shades of pink and red with the fun texture, Carol! That little tag is adorable! In answer to your question about the colors on my floral garden card, I used Distress inks and markers. They are still my favorite way to watercolor! Thank you for your comment.
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card. All those wonderful shades of pinks and reds, and that tiny tag is adorable. Good decision to keep it simple and resist using the silver hearts!
I love the beautiful array of paper that you cut the postage dies from, Carol. So colorful and pretty.
Fun use of the postage dies!
