I have just made some really fun beachy tags for Christmas and I have to explain, in case you don't know, that I live in Florida and my Christmas tree ornaments and some of my decorations are a tropical theme. I have quite a few beachy stamp sets by Flora and Fauna and I got them out today to play...and I'm happy with the results! Since I made (cut with scissors) my own background stencil for the clouds and waves in these tags, I am playing over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Make Your Own Background here. I am also playing along with Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge here.
I reach for this favorite Reverse Confetti tag die all the time, but this time I partial-cut it by placing my cutting plate only on the top half of the tag die to cut it, moved the die down a little, placed the cutting plate only over the bottom half of the die, then cut it again to make the bottom half of the tag longer. Hope that makes sense!
Hope you are having fun crafting at this time of year...I sure am!

These are adorable!!! The mermaid tails and message in a bottle tags are particularly clever. Thanks so much for playing along with us at the HLS Christmas challenge!
