It's time for a moodboard at Just Us Girls #811 where Lisa chose this pretty and yummy treat-centered photo. It's full of inspiration: pink, white and brown pieces of chocolate, a warm drink with whipped cream on top, as well as sweet flowers. I went with the colors, flowers, and a loose interpretation of the wood pattern that the mug is sitting on in the photo.
What I used:
- Waffle Flower Rose Bouquet die and stencil sets, Nesting Rectangle Frames die
- Pink and Main Hugs die
- Spellbinders Color Essentials Gold gems
- Ranger Distress Oxide ink pads
- Patterned paper
The stenciling was quick and it was fun to see the flower details come to life. I cut the flowers apart and rearranged them on the card like one I saw on the WF site. There are so many ways to use the roses on cards and I can't wait to try more of them out.
We hope you will visit our guest Denise Morgan on her blog to see how she made her delicious looking card, as well as the team's blogs for more inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by,
Carol
