Zesty Wishes

I love lemons and especially limes...that yummy flavor and smell. There are many amazing lemon cards out there but I decided on limes for our Just Us Girls Challenge #774 Word Week: Fruit.

Products I used:

Simoln Says Stamp - Citrus Slice Background die

Lawn Fawn - Zesty Lemon dies, Henry's ABCs dies

Concord and 9th - Mini ink pads

I ink blended the edges of a kelly green cardstock panel with a darker green that fades toward the middle. Then I die cut the Citrus Slice panel on white cardstock. After die cutting my letters, lime, leaves and flowers, I ink blended them in the colors of my choice. After arranging them on a strip of vellum, I adhered them and added yellow gems to the center of the little white flowers.

Think about joining us with fruit-inspired cards this week! It will definitely get you in the mood for summer!

Thanks for stopping by!

Carol

I pulled out my LF set when I saw Elizabeth's card and thought "I think I'll make limes." And then I saw your card, Carol. I love them with that die cut background and the zesty sentiment is perfect.
