Our Just Us Girls Challenge #764 is Anything Goes with a Stencil, so what will you make?
These window scenes remind me so much of Denver. There is a building downtown affectionately known as "the cash register" because of its shape, and it is in this stencil in my opinion. (Third building from the left)

I used Ranger Distress Oxide inks to stencil. I recently picked up some Hero Arts White Pearl Hero Paste for the snow on top of the mountains. I also popped up the window off the stenciled scenes with foam tape.
Back story to the second stenciled scene: The view from Red Rocks Amphitheater (in Morrison, Colorado) looking east at green open space until it gets to the downtown Denver view. (Just left of the sun in this photo) The view gets you every time you attend a concert there. After dark, stars fill the sky and you can see downtown in the distance all lit up. This is a sunrise shot and sunsets are even more intense. At Red Rocks you can do a Yoga class, see a summer movie at Film on the Rocks, or attend many concerts. Lots to do there.
Back to cardmaking...We really hope you will get out your stencils and join us this week at Just Us Girls! I think stenciling is a fun task...do you?

Lovely stenciled scene!
Thanks Vicki!
Both versions are pretty Carol! That's a great stencil!
Both beautiful and I do love your Denver sky Carol.
These are both so pretty! Your Denver sky looks absolutely amazing and I really like the window view on these, too.
Carol... I did my graduate work out at UColordo Boulder... lots of great memories of Red Rocks! Definitely deserves a window card!
Both cards are lovely, Carol; you've captured the Denver sky wonderfully on your second version. WOW x two!

Thanks Lisa!
Thank you Ina!
Thanks Sue!
I did not know that Elizabeth! RR is a beauty and a treasure!
You are so sweet Carol!
Both versions are terrific, Carol. I have only been to Denver once although my sister has lived in Westminster for over 40 years.
I do love using stencils, so hope to enter all the JUGS stencil challenges this year! Absolutely adore your cards, Carol! I lived in Denver when I was too young to remember it, but my mom loved the Rockies. One of our favorite concert videos is Moody Blues at Red Rocks! I've thought about getting that paste and love how you used it for snow. And what a beautiful pen your friend made--love it!
