Boo

The Inkspirational Challenge #322 Moodboard has gorgeous colors, and while I thought they would be perfect for something summery, a Halloween card might be cute using them. Lots of fall cards are being posted now and I guess I am jumping on the bandwagon. I also found this cute ghost at Michael's Craft Store and it gave me the idea for the card.

Products I used:

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Mug dies, gems

WPLUS9: Fabulous die

Spellbinders: Mini Blooms and Sprigs dies

Sugar Pea Designs: Stitched Rectangle die

Taylored Expressions: Spiderweb stencil

Concord and 9th: Mini ink pads

I die cut my cute little ghosts and put black scraps behind their eyes.

I stenciled the spider webs on a white cardstock panel using aqua and green inks.

My "FABULOUS" die letters were the perfect size for my card. I  die cut and only used the letters for BOO in orange and aqua. I adhered the two colors together and slightly offset them to show both colors.

I die cut the flowers and added gems in their centers in the challenge colors, then adhered them to the ghosts.

The stitched rectangle is my most used die lately, and I used it for the A2 panel on the front of my card base.

The ghosts are popped up on foam tape to look like they are floating. They remind me of Casper the Friendly Ghost. I put them in front of the spider web, then spelled BOO below them.

Are you in the fall mood for cardmaking yet?

Thanks for stopping by,

Carol

I love your little ghosts with the flower in their 'hair' or should I say on their head??! and I'm sorry - but they just aren't going to scare me with that boo - but I will give them a hug! thanks for joining us at Inkspirational: Moodboard!
