Do you know that book called We're Going on an Egg Hunt? It's a cute children's book that is now in my head after making this card. I ran across my Greetery Destination Map stencils and got the idea to make a map for an Easter egg hunt using the only egg die I own. I am playing along at Inspired By Challenge #IB380 Eggs. I started out with inks for the map in the colors on their graphic, but they got brighter as I progressed. My theme though is eggs, right?
I ink blended the map first, then some scraps for the eggs. I die cut those little eggs and put them around town on the map. I decided that this is a map given out to the community to know where eggs were hidden for egg hunting on Easter.
What I used:
- Waffle Flower egg die
- The Greetery Destination Map dies
- Alex Syberia Foxtrot Alphabet die set
- Simon Says Stamp Hoppy Easter stamp set
- Ranger Distrees Oxide ink pads
- Concord and 9th ink pads
Missing the days of taking our then toddler to the Easter egg hunts near where we lived at the time. Are you hiding eggs this year?
Thanks for stopping by!
