Our lovely teammate Sue chose the Just Us Girls Challenge #744 Word Week: Hope. I went with a pink limeade birthday wish card but there are other ways to use hope as the sentiment or theme. This stencil set was easy to use and I loved watching each layer reveal more of the design. Check out all of the design team's and our Guest Designer Nance's fab ideas on their blogs as well!
Products I used:
Honey Bee Stamps: Hearts in Bloom stencil set
Ranger: Distress inks
Lawn Fawn: Oliver's Stitched ABCs dies
Simon Says Stamp: Holographic sequins (one of mine looks blue in the photo, but it is purple)
I stenciled using mostly smaller ink blending brushes to be able to get into small places on the stencil and to shade some of the elements. My card is a 5" x 5" square, which I am loving these days.
We "hope" you will join us this week!!!
Carol
